Many of you already know me, but for those who are new, my work centers on communication and public speaking — helping people connect, influence, and
lead through the power of their voice.
We’re living in a time of constant change. Politics, artificial intelligence, social media,
deep fakes, disinformation, inflation — the list goes on. It can feel overwhelming. But
here’s the truth: the more uncertain the world becomes, the more important clear,
strategic communication is.
Harvard Business School reminds us that communication is no longer a “soft skill.”
Leaders who rise to the top don’t just talk about communication — they study it, practice
it, and refine it to become engaging, impactful speakers.
So what does that mean for you?
Know your audience — their age, values, and state of mind.
Understand listening patterns — what people tune in to, and what they tune out.
Use non-verbal tools — body language, eye contact, gestures, and tone of voice.
Always have a strategy — every time you communicate, whether it’s one-on-one, in a meeting, or on stage.
At first this may feel unfamiliar, but it’s a skill you can learn, practice, and use to make
an impact anytime, anywhere you speak.
You can also watch the video which talks about this in more detail and tells you how to
do it!
In this blog, I’ll be answering your questions and sharing the latest research, podcasts,
and trends in communication — all designed to help you become more confident and
effective in your own voice.
As some of you know, I love food and cooking. So, I will be sharing my favorite recipes.
Feel free to send me any recipe you like! Lastly, as some of you know. I love food and
cooking. Here’s the first recipe.
This recipe is great because it’s delish, healthy, and zucchinis are in season!
It is a perfect light meal to have before a presentation, speech, or important meeting.
So, let’s get started!
